Originally from New Jersey, Joshua crossed the Hudson and became a New Yorker in 2005. Since leaving the Garden State, he has worked regionally doing both musicals and plays. Some favorite roles include, Radames in “Aida,” and Richard Loeb in, “Thrill Me.” He has also appeared on television in AMC’s, “FilmFakers,” and the, “Bio Channel’s Celebrity Ghost Stories.” His proudest moments though have come while working in NYC. “The Gospel According to Josh,” an autobiographical one man show he wrote and stars in, was accepted into the 2010 Midtown International Theatre Festival and is being presented by Small Pond Entertainment for six performances between July 12th and August 1st at the Dorothy Strelsin Theatre. “Gospel...” was also accepted into the Emerging Artists: OMT series and played at the TADA theatre for one workshop performance in the Spring of 2010. He has co-produced and acted in, “Virtual Reality,” an Alan Arkin play that was part of a collection of one acts called “Criminal Acts,” and showed at The Nuyorican Poets Cafe; and then, “When We Have Gone Astray,” a new play that went for a three week run at the Sargent Theatre in The American Theatre of Actors. He also co-produced Hogan Gorman’s one woman show, “Hot Cripple,” for a three week run in early 2010.

Joshua has studied acting and voice at The Atlantic Acting School, voice (singing) with Deric Rosenblatt, Improv at The P.I.T., musical theatre with Craig Carnelia, and writing with Matt Hoverman.

When not performing, Joshua enjoys traveling when possible, good wine, good friends, a good historical book (Harry Potter doesn’t count, darn it), writing, Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Yankees.
